The pack-a-punch machine will still say it will cost 5000 points to upgrade your weapon, But really it only costs 2000 points to upgrade your gun a second time, even when you pack-a-punch your weapon multiple times in black ops 2 zombies. The third time you pack-a-punch your gun in black ops 2 it will cost 2000 points again.
